CASA approved.
Cloud Application Security Assessment
Before any app can connect to your Gmail, Google requires it to pass CASA, a rigorous security assessment run under the App Defense Alliance. It isn't a form we filled out. Broki was tested by TAC Security, an independent lab authorized to perform CASA assessments, and passed.
Based on the OWASP Application Security Verification Standard (ASVS), the industry benchmark for web application security.
- 1Google requires it
Apps that access sensitive Google data, like Gmail, must be security-assessed before they're approved.
- 2An independent lab tests the app
An authorized assessor scans and tests the application and its infrastructure against the CASA requirements.
- 3Every finding gets fixed
Issues are remediated and re-verified by the assessor before the app can pass.
- 4Validated and approved
The assessor issues a Letter of Validation, and Google approves the app's access.
